“Jake, huh?” the announcer asked the fighter. He pointed the mic away for a moment, and got close to the fighter. “Don't you have a nickname? A last name? Anything?” he whispered to him, trying to make the fighter more interesting for the crowd.

The clear sunlit sky illuminated the open stadium as the crowd screamed for more action. Spectators from all over had come to see fighters, young and old, battle it out against the local champion for the prize of 10,000 BZ. The stadium was large and circular, holding thousands of people in its stands. A hush fell across the stadium as the announcer walked towards the center of large stone stage in the middle of the stadium, mic in hand.
